| I love my Bolex H16mm film camera. It is a fantastic way to add a bit of class to productions - without breaking the bank. I used it during Fred Dibnah's last ever chimney drop and the results were great. It perfectly matched his original 70's film documentaries, capturing the falling chimney in true slow-motion and then Fred's post-chimney-drop reflection. This footage was used as the closing shots of his BBC tribute following his death in November 2004.

The Bolex has a number of advantages over video: real slow-motion, a beautiful 'old school' feel, and that elusive credibility that real emulsion brings. It’s ideal for opening/closing credits, ident's, music promo's, commercials and many other special uses.
I also own a number of Super 8 cameras. These can bring warm, retro qualities to any production at a low cost. It's ideal for things such as nostalgia, home-movie and flashback sequences...and just making stuff look ace!
